Hero Motocorp introduced the 2015 Splendor+ and 2015 Splendor iSmart alongside the new Splendor Pro.
Adding to the festive cheer for customers, Hero MotoCorp has introduced a new variant of the highly successful Splendor+. The 2015 Splendor+ comes with a ‘Self-Start’ feature, thus adding to the convenience and comfort of riding a Splendor. The Splendor+ was initially available with a kick start option only.
The 2015 Splendor iSmart is now available in two new color options – Black Boon Silver & Black Sports Red – in addition to the existing colours of Sports Red, Leaf Green, Excellent Blue & Heavy Grey.
Both the Splendor iSmart and Splendor+ are powered by a 97.2 cc Air cooled, 4 – stroke single cylinder OHC APDV engine which produced max power of 6.15 kW (8.36 Ps) @ 8000 rpm and max torque of 8.05 Nm @ 5000 rpm.
The Splendor iSmart comes with i3s Technology (idle Stop Start System) which automatically switches off the engine when idle and switches it on as soon as you press the clutch. This feature helps to increase the fuel efficiency.
