Chevrolet launched the 2016 Cruze sedan with a mild facelift and added features in the Indian market.
The Cruze is now equipped with the refreshed styling on the exterior and added interior features including the MyLink Infotainment System and Rear Vision Camera.
The Cruze gets new LED Daytime Running Lights along with revised Front Fascia with a new grille with Chrome Horizontal slats and new foglamps. On the rear the car gets a Lip Spoiler.
Interiors are JET black with a new Multi-Function steering wheel with buttons for Infotainment & Bluetooth® Handsfree are added for greater convenience.
The Cruze now gets a new infotainment system which includes a new 7 inch MY-LINK Touchscreen Infotainment System comes with embedded applications including internet radio functionality (Sticher SmartRadio), Grace Note & SIRI EYES FREE Compatibility, Bluetooth Audio Streaming & Phone telephony with Voice Recognition control and Touch controls for Automatic HVAC & Vehicle Personalisation settings.
The 2016 Cruze is priced between INR 14.68 lakh and INR 17.81 lakh (ex-showroom, New Delhi).
The Chevrolet Cruze continues to be one of the largest-selling Chevrolet nameplates selling over 3.5 million units globally.
The Chevrolet Cruze 2016 comes with both a 6-speed manual and a 6-speed automatic transmission mated to the turbocharged 2.0-litre VCDi engine which delivers 166 PS of power with 380 Nm of torque. The Gen2 6-Speed Automatic Transmission delivers fuel economy of 14.81 kmpl while the manual variant returns a fuel efficiency of 17.9 kmpl as per ICAT.
There are no other changes to the car and will continue to be available in 3 variants – LT (MT), LTZ (MT) and LTZ (AT).
