2017 Hero Maestro Edge launch soon.
Hero MotoCorp has tasted decent success with the indigenously developed products such as the Maestro Edge and Duet.
The Maestro Edge which is targeted mainly towards the masculine riders will receive some feature updates. The 2017 Hero Maestro Edge will get new dual tone colors, Auto Headlamp On feature (AHO) and BSIV compliant engine.
The company has retuned the engine with peak power now available from a lower RPM. The 2017 model comes with a 110.9 cc single cylinder, air cooled, engine which develops 8 PS maximum power at 7,500 rpm (down from 8.31 PS @ 8,000 rpm) and slightly higher torque of 8.7 Nm peak torque at 5,500 rpm (up from 8.5 Nm @ 6,500 rpm).
Max power at lower RPM will help to achieve higher fuel efficiency and more torque means smoother ride.
Dual tone colors are now a new trend and Hero too seems to follow it by launching two dual tone color options – Sporty Matte Grey & Red and Active Matte Grey & Blue. The scooter is also available in 7 color options in addition to 2 dual tone paints.
Other features on the 2017 Hero Maestro Edge include – new decals, LED tail lamp, mobile charging port with boot light, digital & analogue meter console, integrated braking, tubeless tyres with a bigger front wheel, External Fuel Filling slot like the Jupiter and Immobilizer (Anti-Theft System).
The scooter will be offered with 5 year warranty.
