RECALL – Check your Honda car if it’s affected by the recall for Takata passenger front airbag.
Honda Cars India announced that it will voluntarily replace Takata passenger front airbag inflators of 41,580 vehicles in the Indian market. the previous generation of Jazz, City, Civic and Accord are a part of Honda’s precautionary global recall campaign concerning Takata front airbag inflators.
The company will replace the airbag inflators at Honda car dealerships across India free of cost. The replacement of inflators for the affected models would begin immediately and the company will communicate with customers directly.

The customers can check whether their cars are covered under this campaign by submitting their 17 character alpha-numeric Vehicle Identification Number (VIN) on the special microsite which has been created on the company’s website (www.hondacarindia.com).
Honda will be launching the City facelift in the Indian market very soon and will introduce the WR-V compact crossover in March. the City Facelift. Production of the WR-V has began at the company plant and will be positioned above the Jazz compact hatchback.
