Toyota displayed the new Land Cruiser LC 200 at the 2016 Auto Expo. The flagship SUV has been in the market since September 2007 and recently the company introduced the new Generation SUV in the Indian market
The New Land Cruiser 200 sports a new more muscular face which is meaner and more aggressive nose, there’s a new bonnet, chunky new chrome grille which extends into the new headlamps with now get BI LED projector lamps and LED clearance lamps. The bumper has been restyled and LED fog lamps get chrome surrounds housings, Chrome door handles and chrome window lining. The rear gets new chrome strip above the license plate which has Land Cruiser embossed in it and new LED rear combination tail lamps and new alloy wheel design.
Inside the Land Cruiser 200 sports a revised dashboard and centre console with new bits and materials for dash under the screen and the steering wheel. There’s a large infotainment screen with two chunky air con vents on either side of the screen and a new 3D instrument cluster which now gets a 4.2 inch TFT multi information display screen. Other changes in the Land Cruiser 200 include new leather wrapped steering wheel, leather interior upholstery and a centre headrest to accommodate a third passenger in the third row. Feature list of the Land Cruiser 200 includes heated steering wheel, LED illuminated Entry system, Enhanced multi Terrain Monitor Cameras, Tyre pressure system, 14 Speaker Premium Audio systems and a Moonroof.
Safety Secure Toyota offers the Land Cruiser 200 with an array of safety features such as Hill start assist control, hill descent control; Turn assist, Vehicle stability control, Tyre pressure monitoring system, Multi terrain monitor and Anti lock braking system with Electronic brake force distribution.
Power for the Land Cruiser 200 comes from a 4.5 litre beast which screams out 262 bhp and 650 nm of torque. 262 bhp worth power is transferred to the road via a 6 speed automatic gearbox and 4WD with Crawl Control. Toyota has launched the new flagship Land Cruiser 200 in two new colours Copper Brown and Dark Mica and is available only as an eight seater option and is offering an unmatched warranty of 3 years/ 1,00,000 kms.
