Honda Activa the highest selling two-wheeler in India and best selling scooter brand.
Honda’s flagship automatic scooter, Activa 3G continues to reign the 2Wheeler sales chart for seven consecutive month in a row, contributing as much as 38 per cent of the incremental sales of 1,62,703 units in the industry in July.
With this, the Activa now becomes the first automatic scooter to overtake motorcycle sales in 17 years.
Since its launch in FY 2001-02, Honda Activa has registered phenomenal growth. Its consistent performance along with technology up-gradation for better mileage has won hearts of Indian customers. The latest launch Activa 125 has received an overwhelming response from the market.
The Activa 3G is powered by 110cc HET engine which develops max power of 6 Kw (8 bhp) @ 7500 rpm and Max torque of 8.74 Nm@5500 rpm. The Activa i is also powered by the same engine and has the same performance figures but comes with fibre body. The Activa 125 sports a larger 124.9cc engine which develops 6.38 Kw (8.6 Bhp)@6500 rpm max power and 10.12 Nm@5500 rpm of max torque.
