Aprilia SR 150 RACE edition spotted at dealership.
The ‘Race’ is taking a new dimension with Aprilia introducing the SR 150 Race edition on 9th of February. We broke the story first of Aprilia launching the SR 150 Race edition and now the scooter has been spotted at a dealership.
Aprilia SR 150 RACE edition comes with new color and race inspired decals.
Cosmetic changes include RACE branding decals in Red & green combination, New Maze Grey body color, Front Caliper in Golder color, Red rims on the front and Rear, Rear Shock absorber spring gets red treatment and Black rubber mat with red elements avaialble as accessory.
There are no other changes to the scooter.
The SR 150 Race edition will feature the same 150cc engine with max power of 10.4 bhp @ 6750 rpm and max torque of 11.4 Nm @ 5000 rpm. Suspension includes a hydraulic telescopic front fork and a single rear arm suspension.
The SR 150 features integrated side indicators, double barrel headlight unit, twin pod instrument cluster, bag hook a very essential when going shopping, racer bike styling, 220mm ventilated front disc brake, a CVT transmission, large 14” alloy wheels, dual tone color seat and under seat storage with a USB charger.
The Race edition will be priced at a premium of Rs. 3000 from the standard variant which is currently priced at Rs. 68,806 (ex-showroom, Delhi).
There is no immediate competition with SR 150 but we can expect competition from Honda and Yamaha in the future.
