Bajaj Auto has launched a new variant of the Discover motorcycle. The company has introduced the Discover 125 with the patented DTS-i (Digital twin-spark) technology. The new Discover platform was introduced in 2012 with the launch of the Discover 125ST, followed by Discover 125T.
The Indian two-wheeler major has been introducing new refreshed models of the Discover range on a regular intervals and also adding new features making the motorcycles a better proposition as compared to competition.
The all new Discover 125 is powered by a Single cylinder, 4-valve, 124.6 cc, DTS-i engine with ExhausTEC which produces 11.5 PS @ 8000 rpm and max torque of 10.8 Nm @ 6000 rpm. The power output is one of the best in class compared to other 125cc motorcycles. With high power the motorcycle also offers a high mileage of 76 kmpl [as per CMVR norms].
The Discover 125 looks sporty with a chiseled-muscular tank, two tone decals, spider web alloy wheels and aluminium side sets. One can choose between six different colours. Gas–charged Nitrox Suspension and a long & comfortable seat which is designed for best riding posture offer a comfortable ride. Petal disc brake is offered on the top variant.
Jiyo Dana-Dan is the new tagline for the bike and it hopes to meet the expectation of customers who are looking for a 125cc motorcycle with high power and a comfortable ride.
The new Discover 125 – with Drum is priced at Rs. 46,699 and the Disc brake Version comes at Rs. 48,619, ex-showroom Maharashtra.
