The new Corolla Altis made its debut in the Indian market and the company also launched a special accessory pack for the new car called the Benchmark Collection which includes a set of 8 additional features to give the Corolla Altis a more premium appeal.
The Benchmark collection includes the following accessories:
- Front bumper lower garnish
- Rear bumper lower garnish
- Chrome side protective mould
- Black door garnish, Chrome
- ORVM chrome garnish
- Illuminated Scuff plate
- Leg room lamps (Blue LED)
- Daytime running lights (DRLs)
Customers who miss the DRLs can get them fixed at the dealer end without losing on warranty, a feature which should have offered as a standard.
The Corolla Altis comes with a long list of features such as rear reclining seat, 7.0 touch screen audio with Bluetooth®, navigation & voice command, Paddle shift, Auto LED headlamps and LED tail lamps.
The new Corolla Altis will help the D-Segment grow which has seen a downfall in the last couple of years with the C-segment cars offering features equivalent to the D-segment cars.
The Corolla Altis will compete with the likes of Hyundai Elantra, SKODA Octavia and face lifted Renault Fluence.
