BMW have launched the new X6 Sports Activity Coupe (SAC) in the Indian market and is on sales across India from today at all BMW dealerships.
The new X6 is available in diesel engine option only xDrive40d with M Sports Package as a standard and optional Design Pure Extravagance package.
The BMW X6 xDrive40d is priced at Rs. 1,15,00,000 ex-showroom.
The exterior comes with a dominated by a wide kidney grille and large front air inlets with horizontal chrome trims, horizontal lines along with rear L-shaped taillights with three –dimensional LED Adaptive Light banks emphasise the wide stance and convey a powerful, solid appearance.
The interiors are designed keeping the driving characteristic with driver oriented design and elevated seating position.
Performance comes via the BMW TwinPower Turbo six-cylinder in-line diesel engine with an output of 230kW/313 hp and a maximum torque of 600 Nm at 1,500 – 2500 rpm and accelerates from 0-100 km/hr in just 5.8 seconds to a top speed of 240 km/h.
The new eight-speed sport automatic transmission offers precision and impressive fast-shifting ability. The xDrive combines the advantages of all-wheel drive – traction, directional stability and safety – with classic BMW agility.
Safety technologies include six airbags, Dynamic Stability Control (DSC) including Dynamic Traction Control (DTC), Cornering Brake Control (CBC), Hill Descent Control (HDC), Side-Impact protection, Electronic vehicle immobilizer and crash sensor.
The BMW ConnectedDrive features numerous optional driver assistance systems, such as the high-definition, full-colour BMW Head-Up Display, BMW Selective Beam, the intelligent emergency call with accident severity detection, optional BMW Night Vision with Dynamic light Spot, high-end Surround Sound system from Harmon Kardon and BMW apps define the benchmark in its Class.
The all-new BMW X6 comes with the M Sports Package as a standard which includes

- BMW Individual extended fine-grain Merino leather upholstery. The interior trim are available in American Oak, Fineline Stripe, Poplar Grain fine wood trim. This vigorous look is rounded off by the BMW Individual headliner in Anthracite.
The optional Design Pure Extravagance package offers exterior elements in Cerium Grey, such as the kidney Grill frame, the front of the kidney slats, front and rear underbody protection made of brushed stainless steel, mirror caps, Air Breather, running boards, side window frames as well as the trim strips on the rear
The interior is defined by two-tone upholstery in Exclusive Nappa leather with contrast stitching available in either Cognac/Black or Ivory white/Black, Leather upholstered door panels and instrument panels with contrast stitching.
An exquisite interior trim, such as the Fineline Stripe fine-wood trim or the optional American Oak fine-wood trim is available with this package.
