BMW unveiled the all new high performance variant of the X5 SUV, X5M in Goa at the BMW M Festival in Goa. The X5 M SUV is priced at Rs. 1.55 crores ex-showroom.
The front of the SUV is dominated with wide front apron, large air inlets, M double-kidney grille. Striking headlights guide your gaze to the side, where the unmistakable crease line and imposing side skirts help to create a wedge-shaped silhouette and a thoroughly majestic presence.
The rear of the BMW X5 M is sub-divided by horizontal lines, which give it a dynamic air and emphasise its wide stance. Two chrome-plated double tailpipe finishers below the large rear apron and diffuser come straight from the world of motorsport.
The X5 M is powered by 4.4-litre M TwinPower Turbo V8 engine with two TwinScroll turbochargers. With outputs of 575 hp and 750 Nm, it is the most powerful engine ever developed by BMW for four-wheel-drive vehicles. The engine is coupled to a newly developed eight-speed M Steptronic automatic transmission now featuring Drivelogic.
