Datsun Go will be retailed under four lakhs and will be powered by a 1.2-litre petrol engine, with power output of 68 PS and 104 Nm of torque. A 5-speed manual transmission will be offered and the car is expected to return a fuel efficiency of 20.6 km/l. The car will be available in 3 variants and number of accessories on offer to customize your car depending on your needs.

Four colour options will be offered initially and the Go will come with a 2 years unlimited kilometers standard warranty.

The Go production began in the first week of February at Renault-Nissan’s Oragadam plant with a production capacity of 60,000 units per year. The Go will also be sold in other markets like Indonesia, Russia, South Africa and other emerging markets.

The Go will help Nissan to compete in the lower A segment which is dominated by the Maruti Suzuki Alto followed by the Hyundai Eon.
