Datsun redi-GO following Renault Kwid’s success path.
Datsun marked the beginning of the auspicious ‘Chingam’ season in Kerala by delivering 310 redi-GOs in a single day to customers across the state. According to the company this new milestone is the highest number of cars being delivered by a manufacturer in the state during the Chingam celebrations.
In July Datsun held a special occasion to deliver 50 redi-GO hatchbacks to customers in Kollam, a Kerala in a single day.
Datsun redi-GO has been able to follow the success path of the Renault Kwid thanks to unique YUKAN design philosophy with tall boy design.
Datsun had received over 10,000 bookings for the hatchback. According to the company a larger percentage of bookings have come from metropolitan areas and Tier 2 cities. The urban-cross is available in 277 dealerships across India and will be sold in 300 plus sales points by end of this year.
The car powered by 800cc engine delivers a fuel efficiency of 25.17 kmpl.
On this occasion, Arun Malhotra, Managing Director, Nissan Motor India Pvt. Ltd. said,

Datsun redi-GO is available across the 274 Nissan and Datsun sales & service touch-points in India. The car is priced in the range of 2.49–3.48 lakhs, ex-showroom, Mumbai and is available in five variants – D, A, T, T (O) and S.
The redi-GO could be also offered with a 1.0 engine like its cousin Kwid 1.0 in the future and may be offered with more features to up its ante.
