- 150 participants including biking enthusiasts and racing veterans gear up for the pulsating race to be held in the forests of Manger, Gurgaon
Firefox, a leading name in the premium bike segment in India, is all set to woo adrenaline junkies and racing enthusiasts with the 4th edition of its annual mountain biking race, FIRESTORM. The race takes off at 7 am on March 1, 2015 and will have bikers maneouvre the broken terrain of the Manger forest in Gurgaon. Over 150 bike-fanatics will compete with seasoned riders in this nail-biting adventure for a cash prize of Rs.3 lakhs.
The race is set amidst narrow dirt paths, while taking participants through tough challenges like broken rocks, thorny Kikar trees & the occasional appearance of Neelgai and foxes. Going head to head in a multi lap format, the professional racers will have to cover an expanse of approx. 42 kms whereas bike-enthusiasts have to cross a distance of 29 kms to win a cash prize of more than Rs. 3 Lakhs among other gifts.
