Ford India announced revised pricing for its compact sedan Aspire and Figo hatchback. The company has slashed prices of the car in tune of 90,000 for some variants. This is the second occasion the company has reduced prices of their cars after the EcoSport.
Ford Figo and Aspire have not been able to meet the sales expectation and the company has been trying various methods to push sales. After a massive marketing blitz in May to June period and offers huge incentives to dealers and customers the company managed to clear the 2015 stock and also push sales of the twin cars.
Ford had also consistently increased prices of the car at 3 occasions since launch and it seems like they have rolled back the price increase the company made in the last 3 months.
The Figo & Aspire come with loaded with features and offer good value to customers but intense competition has taken a toll on sales.
