India’s largest two-wheeler maker, Hero MotoCorp has introduced the new 2014 Edition Karizma R and Karizma ZMR. The bikes have reached the dealers across India and the company will soon announce the official launch. Bookings for the 2014 Edition Karizma’s started a few weeks back.
First unveiled at a major even in 2013, the bikes showcased at the2014 Auto Expo. The bikes sport refreshed exteriors and a lot more than a normal sticker job. The Karizma now features a new headlamp cluster with twin headlights, a bulb winker, reworked body panels, clip-on handlebars, split-seats, a new exhaust, wider tyres and new digital console.
The Karizma is powered by the same 223cc engine but now develops more power. The Karizma R develops 19.2 PS max power and 19.35 Nm of torque, while the ZMR produces 20 PS of power thanks to the new fuel injection system and max torque of 19.35 Nm. The major difference between the two is engine cover panels on the side.
One can choose between five colour options – black, red, white, grey and yellow.
Prices of the 2014 Hero Karizma R – INR 93,119 and 2014 Hero Karizma ZMR – INR 116,630 on-road Mumbai.
Hero MotoCorp has been posting positive sales month on month and the new launches will help to further boost sales.
