Honda City ZX will be the new top variant, gets many more features.
Honda Cars India is gearing to launch the 2017 City Sedan in the Indian market. The Facelifted City was recently launched in the Thai market and has also been spotted in India during a TVC shoot in Noida.
Thanks to our reader who remains to be anonymous for sharing the pics of the 2017 City ZX variant spotted at the dealer yard.
The bumpers at front are redesigned and headlights now come equipped with LED daytime-running lights. The overall front looks more premium and gives the car a fresh look.
On the side profile there are no changes and the car will only get new design alloy wheels. On the rear the sedan gets LED tail lamps and re-profiled bumper.
Honda City ZX variant
The ZX variant will now be the top variant and will come with features like auto headlamps, rain sensing wipers, auto folding mirrors, full LED headlights and taillights, LED fog lights, LED roof lamps, auto dimming interior mirror, 7″ infotainment system with Android auto and voice recognition, soft touch dashboard at some places, lots of chrome and silver accents and alloy wheel spare tyre. Sunroof will be available on the top ZX variant.
Under the hood there are no changes and the City will continue to be powered by 1.5 petrol and 1.5 diesel engine. The petrol engine comes with a 5 speed MT and CVT transmission while the diesel gets a 6 speed MT.
The ZX variant will also be offered with a CVT transmission with Paddle shift.
The 2017 City facelift will receive competition from the likes of Maruti Suzuki Ciaz facelift, New Hyundai Verna, Volkswagen Vento facelift and Skoda Rapid which also received a major facelift in November.
