Honda Cars India introduced a limited edition Brio to celebrate the start of this festive season and also marks the 2nd Anniversary of the hatch in the Indian market. The Brio Exclusive edition comes with sporty black interiors and accessories.
The Exclusive edition is based on Brio SMT model and comes with the following list of features:
- Sporty Black interior theme
- New premium upholstery with matching Instrument Panel, Interior Trims and Roof Lining
- Tailgate Spoiler
- Door Visor
- Exhaust Pipe Finisher
- Back-Up Sensor
- Illuminated Side-Step Garnish
- An ‘Exclusive’ emblem
The special edition will be available in three colors: Taffeta White, Alabaster Silver and Rally Red. The Black interiors look very sporty which gels well with the overall car. We hope Honda continues to offer this interior option in the future.
The ‘Exclusive’ edition of Brio will be available at a special price of Rs 492,000 (ex showroom Delhi)
The Brio is powered by a 1.2 i-VTEC petrol engine which develops max power of 88 PS (65Kw) @ 6000 rpm and Max torque of 109NM @ 4500 rpm. The Brio is offered with a 5 speed manual and 5 speed automatic gear box. Fuel efficiency figures are 19.4 km/L (MT) and 16.5 km/L (AT)
Honda has not been able achieve very big numbers from Brio as compared to the Amaze which has helped the brand to appeal to masses. The company has managed to sell only sold 54,095 units in the last two years. A diesel engine could help the car register higher sales, but the company has reserved the diesel engine currently for the Amaze compact sedan only.
