DSK Hyosung will participate at the Indian Auto Expo for the first time and the company has announced their plans for this mega event. Hyosung will launch the GV 250 cruiser at the 2014 Auto and will also showcase two of future bikes that will give a glimpse into the brand’s vision in terms of design, engineering and technological advancement in the Indian market.
The GV250 also known as Aquila was introduced to the Indian market first by Kinetic in limited numbers and had won many accolades and will more alternative to cruiser lovers in the lower cc segment. The GV 250 cruiser is powered by the same 250cc engine which also does duty on the GT 250R. The V-Twin develops max power of 26.21 Bhp @ 9500 rpm and 22 Nm of torque. We can expect pricing to be around Rs. 3 lakhs.
Hyosung will display the GD 250N, RT 125D at the Auto expo besides the regular models such as GT 650R, GT 250R, GV 650 & ST-7.
The GD 250N was recently unveiled and shares the basic structure of GT 250R. The naked Street will definitely give the Duke 200 some serious competition. The GD 250N produces 28 BHP of max power and 24 Nm of torque. The bike could most likely be launched in April and will be assembled in India.
The RT 125D is a dual purpose bike also known as a Enduro will not make it into the Indian market. The company will definitely study the response and feedback. The RT 125D is powered by a 125cc single cylinder engine which develops 13.50 HP max power.
