DSK Hyousng has introduced the MY2014 GT250 R in the Indian market. The refreshed 250cc bike comes with cosmetic updates with new a headlamp with design elements and sporty graphics. Besides the minor tweaks the GT250 R will be available in three new colour options: White Titanium, Red Titanium, and Black Titanium.
The GT250 R in the entry model from DSK Hyosung and offers the bike enthusiast an affordable option to own a V twin-cylinder 250 bike. The GT250 is powered by a V twin-cylinder, 4 stroke, oil-cooled engine which develops a 27.6 bhp @ 10,000 rpm and 22.07 Nm of Torque @ 8000 rpm.
The 2014 GT250 R is priced at Rs. 2.76 lakhs (ex-showroom Pune) and will be retailed through 36 dealers across India. The Big Boy will help Hyosung attract more bike enthusiasts.
The 250cc plus segment is developing further with many bikers opting for more powerful bikes and new model introductions by two wheeler majors. Hero MotoCorp & Yamaha will be introducing new models in this category in the next one year with other company also evaluating higher cc bikes.
Hyosung will add at least 2 more new models to in the coming year with the GD 250N and Comet 250 most likely to be launched in the second half of this year. The company introduced the Aquila 250 cruiser at the auto expo at Rs. 2.69 lakhs making it most affordable Hyosung in the Indian market.
