Hyundai Creta Automatic now available in 2 diesel and 1 Petrol option.
Hyundai seems to be betting hard on the Creta and has introduced a lower version Creta S+ Automatic with diesel engine option. When launched the Creta was available in 1 automatic version. The company recently introduced petrol automatic and has now expanded the range with a more affordable automatic version.
The Creta S+ automatic diesel version is priced at Rs. 13.56 Lakhs (ex-showroom Delhi), which is around Rs. 1.06 lakh less expensive than the Creta SX+ Diesel AT.
The S+ grade miss out on many features from the top end variant but comes with features 7 inch touchscreen audio system with 6 speakers, Bluetooth streaming, 1GB HDD, dual airbags, ABS and foglamps.
The Creta S+ Automatic diesel is powered by a 1.6 CRDi engine coupled with a Variable Geometry Turbo (VGT). It churns out 128 PS and 256 Nm of torque, and is mated to a six-speed automatic torque converter.
The closest rival to the Creta Automatic is the Renault Duster 110PS RXZ AMT which is priced at Rs. 12.87 lakhs.
The success of Creta has forced other car makers to launch a SUV in the Rs. 10-16 lakhs segment.
