New Hyundai Elantra to expand Hyundai’s premium offering in India.
Ahead of the launch of its executive sedan the all-new Hyundai Elantra next month, some Hyundai dealers have started accepting bookings for the car at Rs 25,000 for all the variants.
The new Elentra looks quite different from its predecessor with a more mature design language which looks quite different from current models in Hyundai’s stable.
Inside the new executive sedan has been revamped completely with premium materials and smarter dashboard design.
A brand new 149bhp 2.0 litre four cylinder petrol engine and a 136bhp 1.6 litre diesel engine are on offer along with a six speed Automatic gearbox.
The car will get a long feature list with focus on technology and safety. 7-inch touchscreen infotainment system with navigation, Apple CarPlay / Android Auto, Music player, AUX-IN and Bluetooth connectivity, ESP, traction control, ABS, EBD, BA, 6 airbags are some of the high end features to be offered on the Elantra.
Hyundai will be officially announcing prices of the new Elantra in September at the time of official launch.
The new Gen Elantra will compete with the likes of facelifted Toyota Corolla Altis (launch in 2017), new Chevrolet Cruze, Skoda Octavia, Renault Fluence and upcoming new 10th Gen Honda Civic.
