Hyundai registered growth of 17.2% over last year, cumulative sales of 51,834 Units.
Hyundai Motor India, tregistered domestic sales of 42,017 units and exports of 9,817 units with cumulative sales of 51,834 units for the month of January 2017. Grand i10 and Elite i20 have settled in the 10 ten while Creta & Eon continue to average about 5-6K units.

Commenting on the sales performance of Hyundai Motor India, Mr. Rakesh Srivastava, Sr. Vice President – Sales & Marketing, HMIL, said
“Year 2017 looks promising with entire industry optimistically looking forward for a positive growth. Hyundai has shown all model growth of 17.2% on account of good performance by super performer brands Grand i10, Elite i20, Creta and without any new mass model launches. The Union budget will give boost to economy especially rural with focus on infrastructure creating a robust business environment thus helping auto industry and positively contribute to National GDP.”
Hyundai Motor India is the largest passenger car exporter and the second largest car manufacturer in India. It currently has eleven car models across segments – Eon, i10, Grand i10, Elite i20, Active i20, Xcent, Verna, Creta, Elantra, Tucson and Santa Fe.
Hyundai will start the year with the launch of Grand i10 facelift in February. The cars have already reached dealerships and the prices will be announced very soon. The changes are cosmetic and the hatch will also get a new diesel engine.
