Ford introduces all-new EcoSport for North America during the world’s first-ever Snapchat vehicle reveal. The India bound 2017 EcoSport will get all of the design cues from this model and will feature the latest Technology – including SYNC 3 with a high-resolution 8-inch floating touch screen, Apple CarPlay™ and Android Auto™.
Styling is bold and the SUV gets a few design changes on the front like a new grills, Projector headlamps, new front bumper and triangle shaped fog lamps.
The interiors too get refreshed with a new design dashboard with color coordinated interiors, large 8-inch floating touch screen in the centre and new instrument console.
Ford has also revealed the personality-packed SES series which features Intelligent 4WD, sport-tuned suspension and steering, and unique styling cues inside and out – including bold copper accents for the interior and sport seats. This model is very unlikely to be offered for the Indian market.
The styling cues could be introduced as a special edition if Ford wants to offer Indian customer some personalization options like the Vitara Brezza.
The new SYNC Connect with FordPass allows drivers to start, lock, unlock and locate their vehicle from almost anywhere. The mobile app lets owners view vehicle information, such as the fuel level and odometer reading, when not in the vehicle.
We can expect the EcoSport to be introduced in the Indian market by June 2017.
