Jaguar all set to launch the XE sedan on 3rd February 2016 at 2016 Auto Expo.
Jaguar Land Rover India (JLRIL) announced the launch date of the All-New Jaguar XE sedan in India on 3rd February 2016. The new XE is the smallest car in the Jaguar portfolio globally and will lock horns with the likes of Mercedes-Benz C-Class, BMW 3 Series and Audi A4.
The company has also announced pre-launch bookings for the car across all dealers in India. This is going to be the fourth product and will help the company boost sales and also attract a larger customer.
The All-New Jaguar XE will be the first aluminium-intensive monocoque product in the segment and is set to be the most advanced and refined sports saloon in its class.
Jaguar XE will be available in 2 petrol derivatives; with 147 kW and class leading 177 kW power output. The diesel engines could join the line-up later once the company starts CKD operations in India at the company’s Chakan plant in Pune.
The All-New Jaguar XE has range of features such as Torque Vectoring by Braking, All Surface Progress Control (ASPC), Softgrain Windsor Leather Seats, Panoramic Sliding Sunroof, Interior Mood Lighting, Navigation System, 380 Watts MeridianTM Sound System and Surround Camera System.
