Mahindra’s new compact cross over named S101 will called KUV 100
Mahindra & Mahindra will officially announce the name of the new compact cross over named S101 as KUV100. The company will continue with alpha numeric trend will be the third product to bear a similar name plate.
The Indian utility major will also reveal more details of the new crossover KUV 100 to the media on the 18th of this month and will be the least price d vehicle from the company’s current product range.
The styling is modern and the company has opted for a very aggressive design similar to that on the XUV 500.The crossover will compete with hatchbacks like WagonR. Tata Zica and Chevrolet Beat and is expected to be priced in the range of Rs. 4-6 lakhs.
The S101 or KUV100 will be offered with two engine options – a new 1.2-litre 3-cylinder petrol and a 1.5-litre, 3-cylinder diesel which also does duty on the TUV 300. The engines will be mated to a 5-speed manual, and there could be an automated manual transmission (AMT) as well on offer.
The KUV100 or S101 will be officially launched in January third week.
