Mahindra KUV 100 Xplorer Edition kit introduced
Utility major Mahindra & Mahindra has introduced the KUV 100 Xplorer Edition in the Indian market. The KUV 100 Xplorer Edition is basically an accessorized version of the standard KUV 100 and the kit is retro fitted at the dealership.
The company has started offering the kit at all dealerships in Indian and one has to pay additionally Rs. 50,000.

The KUV 100 Xplorer Edition was showcased at the 2016 Auto Expo and the vehicle received good response which compelled the company to introduce the kit. The company is offering a host of other accessories which can be chosen from the KUV accessory brochure.
The KUV 100 is available in 7 variants – K2, K2+, K4, K4+, K6, K6+ and the top-spec K8.
Engine options include 1.2 petrol engine which does 82 Bhp@5500 rpm max power and 114Nm @3500-3600 max torque while the diesel engine produces 77Bhp @3750rpm and 190Nm @1750-2250 rpm.
The KUV 100 features a front bench seat (a first in the segment), multifunction steering wheel with audio controls, integrated 2 DIN music system, three rotary controls for the HVAC. Mahindra will provide a lap belt for the front center passenger seat, which could be used by children.
In terms of safety the KUV 100 gets ABS and EBD as standard across all variant and Airbags as optional on the base variants.
