Mahindra Electric, a part of the Mahindra auto division launched the most anticipated electric car eVerito in the Indian market. The all-electric, zero-emissions sedan is priced at Rs. 9.50 lakhs for the base variant inclusive of all the post state subsidy and FAME incentive in Delhi.
The electric sedan is not launched pan India and will be available in select cities like New Delhi, Mumbai, Bangalore, Pune, Kolkata, Chandigarh, Hyderabad, Jaipur, and Nagpur.
The car is powered by electric drivetrain technology from Mahindra Electric a 72V 3-phase AC Induction Motor which produces max power of 30.5 kW (41 hp) @ 3500 rpm and max torque of 91 Nm @ 3000 rpm. The car comes with a direct drive single speed transmission and can be charged at home as well as quick charged in 1 hour and 45 minutes through fast charging technology. The car has zero tail pipe emission which makes it a green vehicle.
On a full charge, the Mahindra eVerito can travel for up to 110 kms (based on vehicle loading) and can achieve a top speed of 86 kmph. The electric sedan comes with a low running cost of Rs. 1.15 per kilometer.
The car also features Boost Mode and Telematics which include real time and immediate assistance wherever the vehicle may be. REVIVE – a global first feature allows the eVerito enough charge to run an extra 8 km on the rare occasion of it running low on energy (similar to E2O).

- Hill hold which prevents the car from rolling back

- Forward/ Boost mode for extra power
- Telematics which helps capture more than 190 vehicle performance parameters which enables remote monitoring and diagnostics. Customers receive monthly statistics on Charging Patterns, Distance Travelled, Co2 saved, ECO points earned, fuel saved, etc.
- Intelligent Energy Management System: Calculates SOC (Status of Charge) and Distance to Empty, ensures optimum range, monitors battery voltage, current temperature and communicates with the Telematics gateway to create an external interface.
The eVerito is offered in 3 variants – D2, D4 and D6
