Maruti Suzuki will start the New Year by launching the all new Celerio hatchback at the Auto Expo. The new hatch will replace the A-Star (ALTO) and the Estilo in India. A couple of days back we published the Maruti Celerio Spec sheet and all variant details.
Life takes a leap – is the tag line of the Celerio and is the first car in India to feature EX drive technology. Thanks to our friends at Autoportal for sharing the brochure scans which gives more insights of the car. The Celerio will be the first model in India to feature automated manual transmission which offers the comfort of an automatic and the peppiness of a manual.
The car will be offered in 7 colour options and 8 variants (we had earlier reported 6). There is also an option pack available on the top end ZXi variant which comes with following features: driver side height adjustment, alloy wheels, front fog lamps, ABS and co-passenger side airbag.
The car will also feature the K-Next series 1.0 petrol engine which offers a mileage of 23.1 kmpl both on the manual and automatic variant.
Stay tuned for more updates on the pricing.
