India’s best-selling model Alto complete one year since the company launched the new model in the India. To celebrate its success the company has launched an anniversary edition of the Alto 800.
The Alto Anniversary edition comes with following features
- Purple Haze body color (new colour option)

- New seat upholstery
- Blacked-out B-Pillar
- Body side molding
- Rear parcel tray
- Body colored side mirror
- Single din Audio system with USB (Optional)
Since launch of the new model, Maruti Suzuki sold more than 2 lakh Alto’s on the Indian roads. The Alto has been the best seller and retails around 23000 units on an average. The Alto is available in 3 fuel options Petrol and CNG. Powered by a fuel efficient 800cc engine the car returns 22.74 kmpl (petrol) and 30.46 km/Kg (CNG).
The Maruti 800 is based on the LXi variant and the LXi Anniversary Edition is priced at Rs. 312,751.
Maruti Suzuki seems to betting on the limited edition models and this is the third model in recent days. The company launched the WagonR Madhavan Signature edition and Alto K10 Musik edition to celebrate the festive season.
We can expect more special editions from Maruti Suzuki in this festive season.
