India’s largest car maker, Maruti Suzuki has introduced a new limited edition of the Swift labeled as Windsong edition. The Swift Windsong edition is available on the VXi petrol & VDi diesel variants only which are also the highest selling variants.
Maruti Suzuki launched the refreshed Swift in October 2014 with subtle changes and few feature additional features.
The Swift Windsong special edition features
- Stylish interiors
- Sony Touchscreen Music System with Bluetooth & External Mic
- Swift Vibe EQ Mode
- Powerful 55W Max Output
- Rear Camera Input
- SIRI Eyes Free control for iPhone Seat covers
- Reverse parking sensors
- Rear upper spoiler
- Musical themed graphics
- Door Sill Guard with Illumination
- Ambient Interior Lighting
- Designer floor mats
The Swift Windsong is priced at Rs. 514973 for the VXi variant and Rs. 631449 for the VDi variant. The above prices does not include the limited edition accessory kit price. One will have to pay more for the extra features.
The standard variants are priced as VXI Rs. 526323 and VDI Rs. 621597 which seem to be on the higher side compared to the limited edition.
The launch of the Swift Windsong edition happens to be exactly after the newly launched Tata Motors Bolt which also features Touchscreen music system, reverse parking sensors etc. The Swift is the second largest selling hatch in the Indian market and the company wants to continue dominating the segment.
We hope Maruti Suzuki continue to offer these features as standard in the future.
