Mercedes Benz has been constantly strengthening its product portfolio in India by launching newer products and periodical upgrades. The luxury car brand created yet another sales record by registering its best ever June, Q2 and half-yearly sales.
The key highlight of MB India’s sales success are as following
- The best ever June with higher sales than June 2016
- A record 3521 units sold in Q2 2017, which is a strong 18% y-o-y growth as compared to the same period last year
- A record 7171 units sold in Jan-July 2017 period, which is a 8.7% growth compared to Jan-July sales 2016
- The E-Class remains the highest single selling model in Jan-June 2017 period with exceptional demand for the long wheelbase E-Class. The C-Class remained the second highest selling model in the entire portfolio
- The GLC remained the highest selling SUV in Jan-June 2017 followed by the GLE
- The growth in the SUV segment was highest with 31% increase in sales compared to Jan-June 2016
