Mercedes-Benz India now has the widest cabriolet portfolio for a luxury car maker with E-Class Cabriolet, C-Class Cabriolet and S-Class Cabriolet.
Mercedes-Benz India redefined luxury open top motoring by launching two products the C-Class Cabriolet and the S-Class Cabriolet in the Indian market.
The S-Class Cabriolet is the first from Mercedes-Benz since 1971 and creates an unsurpassable benchmark with its unmatched style, craftsmanship, innovation and luxury.
Mercedes-Benz also introduced in India the first ever cabriolet from the C-Class family, thereby extending its range of cabriolets with new levels of exclusivity, comfort and performance in India’s luxury car segment.
The C-Class Cabriolet features a 1,991 cc petrol engine that churns out 180 kW (245 hp) and 370 Nm of torque available at as low as 1300 rpm | 0 – 100 in just 6.4 seconds.
While the S-Class Cabriolet Scintillating Performance: The S-Class Cabriolet features a V8 petrol engine that produces 335 kW (455 hp) and 700 Nm of torque available at as low as 1800 rpm | 0 -100 in just 4.6 seconds. The S-Class Cabriolet comes with the AIRMATIC air suspension system including continuously variable damping control
Both the C & S are powered by the 9G-TRONIC transmission.
The C-Class Cabriolet is equipped with AGILITY CONTROL suspension with selective damping system and lowering. The car also features DYNAMIC SELECT with five modes – “ECO”, “Comfort”, “Sport”, “Sport Plus” and “Individual” which enables enthusiasts to select options that suit their preferred driving styles.
To make every S-Class Cabriolet truly unique in India, Mercedes-Benz India is offering more than 13,000 possible customization combinations through designo. This also makes it the 8th addition to the designo portfolio.
The C-Class Cabriolet features a Burmester® Surround Sound System with 13 high-performance speakers while the rhe S-Class Cabriolet features a Burmester® Surround Sound System with 23 specially designed speakers, 24 amplifier channels and a total system output of 1520 watts.
The Mercedes-Benz C-Class Cabriolet 300 is priced at Rs. 60 lakhs and the S 500 Cabriolet is priced at Rs. 2.25 crore (Ex-showroom New Delhi).
