All new Fortuner will be launched in November.

The New Toyota Fortuner adopts an edgy design that makes it look like it’s a generation ahead.
The face has a huge front chrome grille along with sleek headlights and a chunky front bumper housing two neatly fog lamps surrounded with a chrome bezel make up the front of the car. The side profile looks sleek and butch with the masculine wheel arches and a floating roof with a rising window line. Built on Toyota’s New Global Architecture (TNGA) the new SUV will offer better drive and comfort.
The new SUV will come with a lot of equipment and technology and definitely will be priced a lot higher than the current model.
Engine options on the new Fortuner will be a 2.4-litre diesel engine which produces 148 Ps and 400 Nm of torque, while the 2.8-litre unit generates 175 Ps and 450 Nm of torque. Transmission options on offer include a 6-speed manual and a 6-speed automatic. A 2.7 litre petrol engine will also be offered.
The Toyota Fortuner has been the bestselling SUV in its segment and is still leading the race even with new gen models from competitors. The Delhi NCR diesel ban put the Fortuner on back track with sales declining month and also forced the Japanese auto maker to put the new gen Fortuner on back burner. However with the ban being uplifted Toyota has now fast tracked the launch.
The new Fortuner will rival the Ford Endeavour, Chevrolet Trailblazer, Hyundai Santa Fe, Mitsubishi Pajero Sport and upcoming Jeep Compass.
