The Ertiga facelift was announced recently at Indonesia International Motor Show 2015. The Indian version gets changes are limited to the front only and misses on the extra reflector on the rear.
The 2015 Ertiga gets a new 3 slat chrome grille, chrome embellishments around the fog lamps, a new set of alloy wheels on the Z variants.
Apart from cosmetic changes, the mid-life facelift gets mechanical updates too. Maruti Suzuki had announced to extend the use of SHVS hybrid technology first launched in Ciaz sedan to more products. The new Ertiga diesel will benefit from this technology and will be offered on all variants.
The 2015 Ertiga will be offered in 5 trims – L, L (O), V, Z and Z+ in petrol and diesel options.
Variant break-up
LXI/LDI – Manual AC, power steering, body coloured bumpers, tilt steering, 60:40 split second row seat, seat belt reminder buzzer and driver-side airbag.
LXI(O)/LDI(O) – All features on LXI/LDI plus, ABS with EBD, pre-tensioner and force limiter and front passenger airbag.
VXI/VDI – All features on LXI(O)/LDI(O) plus, body coloured ORVM and door handle, all power window, keyless entry, audio system with Bluetooth, USB, AUX-in and CD, electrically adjustable and foldable ORVM with turn indicators, reverse parking sensor, chrome grille and 50:50 split foldable third row seats.
ZXI/ZDI – All features on VXi/VDi plus, steering mounted audio controls, height-adjustable driver seat, rear wiper and defogger and alloy wheels.
ZXI+/ZDI+ – All features on ZXi/ZDi plus, reverse parking camera, Touchscreen SmartPlay entertainment system and push start button with smart key.
Engine options remain unchanged with 1.4 K-Series petrol engine producing 95 Ps max power and 130 Nm of torque while the 1.3 DDiS diesel engine makes 90 Ps and 200 Nm. The Ertiga is available in CNG option also.
