Nissan India strengthened its presence in South-India with the inauguration of Pinnacle Nissan, a new retail outlet at Kollam in Kerala. With the opening of this dealership, Nissan increased its base to 217 touch points spread over 165 cities across India. Pinnacle Nissan is its 26th customer touch point in the state of Kerala. Like the rest of Nissan dealerships, this new dealer will display and deal in Datsun portfolio also.
Akin to every reputed global automaker, Nissan has been focussing on expanding its retail network and aims to double its reach by March 2017 with a presence of 300 touch points all over India. Notably, in the last 6 months, 12 new dealerships have been made operational by Nissan India.
Speaking at the dealership opening, Jerome Saigot, vice president, Datsun India said, “Growing our dealership base, building strong business fundamentals and getting closer to our customers are areas of high priority as we gear up to launch our new Datsun redi-GO and enter this high volume segment in 2016. As we expand our dealership footprint to meet rapidly rising demand in one of the world’s fastest-growing auto markets, we are on course with our target of setting up 300 outlets across the country by the end of March 2017.”
With over 5500 sq. feet of showroom space, Pinnacle Nissan will showcase the complete portfolio of Nissan and Datsun cars. Pinnacle Nissan has established an eight bay workshop, equipped for mechanical and accident repairs.

The Japanese car maker has been focusing on building both brands simultaneously with Nissan targeting the premium vehicles while the Datsun is focused towards the masses. The company will soon launch the new Redi-Go Urban Cross in the Indian market.
