The New Terrano Automatic and range will be available with as many as 14 new enhancements and a new Sandstone Brown body colour.
Nissan announced the start of pre-booking for the new Terrano Automatic equipped with 6 Speed Advanced Auto Drive in India. The Automatic variant will be based on the top-of-the-line XVD Premium grade. The Terrano embodies Nissan’s global SUV heritage with design cues found on the global SUV line-up.
The Automatic features a 6-Speed AMT (Automated Manual Transmission) mated to a 1.5-litre diesel engine, generating 110PS of power and 248NM of torque. The same is also found on the Renault Duster. Fuel efficiency for the Terrano 6 Speed Advanced Auto Drive stands at an ARAI rated 19.61kmpl.
The AMT-equipped grade also gets Hill Assist Control and Electronic Stability Program (ESP) for added traction and safety.
Other safety features include dual air-bags, Anti-Lock Braking System (ABS), Electronic brakeforce distribution (EBD), Brake Assist (BA) and Rear parking sensors.
Interested customers can pre-book their cars with a deposit of Rs. 25,000 at Nissan dealerships. Sales of the new car will commence later this month.
The 2016 Terrano model range also gets new features like electrically folding exterior rear-view mirrors with integrated turn signals, anti-pinch driver side windows, a new driver armrest, soft touch plastics on the dashboard, and door trim.
White backlit illumination on door switches, new door trim design, one touch turn indicators, and automatic warning for emergency braking will be standard across all variants.
A new body colour, Sandstone Brown, will also be available throughout the range.
The Terrano 6 Speed Advanced Auto Drive will be available in the price range of Rs. 13.75 – 13.85 lakh, ex-showroom, Delhi.
