India’s largest car maker will soon launch its next small car based on the WagonR, Stingray. The car will hit the Indian roads very soon and has already reached dealerships across India.
The Stingray based on the WagonR, will be an additional variant is positioned to target the younger generation who are looking for sophisticated and sport looking cars. The most striking feature is the Glass grille and projector headlamps. On the rear the tail lamps are revised to carry over the sport look.
The Alloys get gun metal treatment and is definitely another striking feature of the car.
The WagonR Stingray will be offered in three variants: LXi, VXi and VXi option pack. The option pack, more of a safety pack will offer ABS, driver airbag, audio controls on steering wheel, projector headlamps and electrically adjustable ORVMS.
On the inside the Stingray gets Piano black centre console, all black interiors and chrome finished gear knob. Chorme handles and imitation grain metal accents on the door panels.
The WagonR Stingray will be priced at a premium of Rs. 40-50,000 over the current WagonR. The car will be powered by the same 1.0 K-Series petrol engine.
The launch is expected very soon.
