Renault has silently upgraded the Duster RxS with new features. The Renault Duster RxS now features touchscreen infotainment system and dual airbags.
The Integrated 7″ touch screen audio system comes with MP3/AM/FM support, Bluetooth® for audio and telephone control, USB and Aux-In with Smartphone Voice Recognition (iOS only) and 4 Speakers.
The SUV gets Driver and passenger airbags as standard in addition to Anti-Lock Braking System (ABS), Electronic Brakeforce Distribution (EBD) with Brake Assist (BA), Rear defogger and Speed sensitive auto door locking.
The RxS variant is available with a 1.5 dCi 85 Ps diesel engine which develops 83 Ps @ 3750 rpm and maximum torque of 200 Nm @ 1750 rpm. The SUV has a fuel efficiency of 19.87 km/l/.
The Duster is available in 3 engine options and 4 trims – RxE, RxL, RxS and RxZ. The SUV also comes with a R-EASY AMT gearbox and will soon be launched with a new petrol engine and a CVT gearbox.
Renault Duster RxS is priced at Rs. 10.75 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi).
The Duster sales have stabilised to 1500-2000 units per month which is quite low as compared to numbers the SUV clocked in the first year.
Renault is also working on new gen Duster which is mostly likely to debut in 2019 and will come with 7 seat configuration.
The compact SUV is going to witness more action with launch of Mahindra S102, Tata Nexon, Hyundai Compact SUV and Toyota CR-H.
