Renault Kwid AMT comes with Easy- R AMT with Shift Control Dial.

Renault India has introduced the Kwid AMT in the Indian market at an affordable introductory price of only Rs. 30,000 more than the Kwid 1 MT litre version.

Renault has sold more than 1,00,000 cars since its launch about a year ago and with the launch of Kwid 1.0 MT & AMT the company expects to further expand sales which now averages about 10,000 units per month.

Easy-R Gear Box: The Innovative Shift Control Dial with three modes Reverse – Neutral – Drive has been smartly designed for ease of use and is positioned below the infotainment system on the centre console.

An advanced control unit automatically optimizes gear shifting in accordance with driving conditions for smooth and regular acceleration to offer a comfortable and stress-free driving experience.

The power of the Kwid AMT comes from a new one litre Smart Control Efficiency (SCe) engine with four valves per cylinder and Double Over Head Camshaft (DOHC) arrangement. It will deliver 68PS of maximum power and peak torque of 91Nm@4,250rpm, with excellent fuel efficiency of 24.04  kmpl*.

The car comes equipped with a driver airbag and first-in-class pro-sense seat-belt pretensioners with load limiters, an safety feature that is usually offered in upper segment cars.

The Renault KWID AMT will be available in the top-end RXT variant with five colour options- Fiery Red, Ice Cool White, Moon Light Silver, Outback Bronze and Planet Grey.

Bookings have commenced across all Renault dealerships in India. Bookings can be made either at the dealerships or through the Renault KWID App, which could be easily downloaded from the Google Playstore or Apple Store.

Kwid continues to have a large appeal to first time buyers, indicating that it is truly an aspirational product, offering an outstanding value proposition.
