Toyota will soon launch the facelifted Etios & Etios Liva in India. The launch is expected to be on the 15th of this month. As reported earlier, the Etios Series will receive a minor update this year. Thanks to our friends at Gaadiwaadi.com who have posted the images of the facelifted Etios sedan.
The Etios facelift features a new chrome grille and new design ORVMs with side indicators. There are no other changes to the exteriors. On the inside the Etios receives a new dual tone dashboard with faux wood and chrome accents and new beige color theme interior which gives the car a more upmarket appeal. New seat upholstery and door trims also added.
Toyota seems to follow Volkswagen is terms of offering airbags as standard from base variant with the exception, Toyota is offering Driver air-bag as standard from the base variant on Etios facelift. Dual airbags are available on top variants. Reverse parking sensors, electrically adjustable ORVMs are also added to increase convenience.
A new dual DIN audio system which plays DVD, MP3, FM/AM along with AUX-In and USB functions.
Toyota has made no changes to the engine and the Etios facelift continues to be available with a 1.5 petrol and 1.4 D-4D diesel engine. The Liva too will receive the same updates.
