Volkswagen to introduce Vento ALLSTAR limited edition ahead of the festive season.
The ALLSTAR limited edition is based on the Comfortline trim and will be available in both petrol & diesel engine options. Like the Polo ALLSTAR limited edition, the Vento ALLSTAR limited edition will also be available in new Blue Silk paint shade.
The Vento ALLSTAR limited edition will come with additional features such as:
- New Linas alloy wheels
- Aluminum pedals
- Black and Grey interiors
- New seats (Pentastripe Anthrisite Fabric)
- Leather hand brake lever
- ALLSTAR badge on scuff plate
The limited edition will be introduced during the Volkswagen Volksfest which celebrates Volkswagen’s 10 years of presence In the Indian market. The Volkswagen Volksfest will start in September 2017 and will continue till October second week.
The Vento has seen a drop in sales and the company hopes the new features and limited edition will add to the sales volumes.
Volkswagen has been working on a turnaround strategy for the Indian operations and plans to introduce new models on the MQB platform which the company believes is a better option over Tata Motors AMPplatfrom.
Vento ALLSTAR limited will be launched very soon with all fitments directly from the factory. We can expect the prices to be hiked marginally.
A few months back the company introduced the Vento High line plus with features like LED headlamps, LED DRLs and a rear-view camera, indicators integrated on the wing mirrors, tail lamps with 3D effect and Zirkonia alloy wheels.
