Tata Motors Hexa to have dedicated team for sales and service.
Tata Motors is going to start the New Year with the launch of the all new Hexa crossover on the 18th of January. The company which unveiled the car a few months back has been conducting boot camps and other various marketing activities to promote the crossover and gauge customer feedback.
Tata Motors Hexa will be offered in in 14 variants and will be available in 4×2, 4×4, Manual and automatic variants.
To be positioned as the flagship product the crossover will be available in three trim levels – XE, XM and XT. One can choose between a six seater and a seven seater.

The XE entry level variant will be available in 2 versions only, while the mid XM and top XT will be available in 6 variants each. 4×4 with Automatic is offered on the mid XM variant only. Seems like XT Automatic could push the price range very high hence to avoid the high price, Tata may consider launching this variant if demands expects in future.
The Hexa will be powered by the 2.2 VARICOR diesel engine. The XE variant will be available with VARICOR 320 version that has an output of 150 PS and 320 Nm of torque and power is made available to rear wheels only. A 5 speed manual gear box is offered.
The XM and XT variants will come with VARICOR 400 version that has an output of 150 PS and 400 Nm of Torque. Transmission options include a 6 speed manual and 6 speed automatic.
Some Tata dealers have started accepting booking for the Hexa and deliveries are likely to start end of January.
