Tata Motors unveil BOLT SPORT CONCEPT at Geneva motor show

Tata Motors unveiled a Bolt Sport concept at Geneva motor show. The BOLT SPORT CONCEPT showcases the company new direction of high-performance vehicles for a new generation of consumers and also hints of the company’s performance brand which is most likely to be launched this year.

The Bolt Sport is powered by the Revotron 1.2T engine but is able to generate 120 Ps of max power and 170 Nm of max torque. It features engine performance, suspension, brakes and appearance upgrades developed by race engineers.

Key highlights of the Bolt Sport concept

• A larger turbocharger, a remapped ECU, and a high-flow exhaust system allow the Revotron 1.2T gasoline engine to produce more power and torque for a more exciting driving experience
• Different gear ratios in the transaxle and final drive further enhance the responsiveness
• The engine enhancements are complemented by a track-tuned suspension system and higher-performance brake upgrade kit, featuring performance brake pads
• The suspension kit lowers the ride height for sportier handling and stance
• 17-inch, split-six-spoke wheels complement the lowered look with aggressive style
• The Fire Engine Red exterior harmonises with additional exterior embellishments, which include front bumper with air dam, rear bumper with diffuser styling, side skirts, and a sun roof
• The interior has seats in sporty black leather with red detail and contrast stitching, a visually enhanced dashboard, a leather wrapped steering wheel, gear shift boot with stitch detail, and sport pedal extensions
