Toyota Corolla Altis facelift launched, starts at Rs. 15.87 lakhs

Toyota Kirloskar Motor (TKM) launched the Corolla Altis facelift in the Indian market.

The facelifted Corolla Altis comes with sharp edgy design giving the sedan a very sporty appeal. With the new facelift, Toyota has discontinued the base J trim which means the company is focusing on personal segment.

The Corolla Altis comes with new features such as Advanced Bi-beam LED Headlamps, LED Daytime Running Lamps (DRL), New 3D bumper design, new grille design, LED Tail Lamps and new 16inch alloys.

On the inside the car comes with flaxen dual tone beige interiors and Instrument Panel with Soft Touch Dashboard. Like the Camry the Corolla also gets the Minus ion generator (nanoe) and Autofold and reverse linked ORVM.

The sedan continues to offer rear reclining seats, only car in its segment.

In terms of safety, the Altis now comes with 7 airbags similar to Camry, Innova and Fortuner, Hill Start Assist Control and Vehicle stability control.  ABS & EBD with BA is standard across the range.

Corolla Altis is available in two engine options- 1.8 L petrol engine with Dual VVT-i and 1.4 L diesel engine. The Automatic is now equipped with Super CVT-I 7 speed sequential shiftmatic & with Sport Mode & Paddle Shift.

The Corolla Altis is introduced in 6 variants – 4 petrol and 2 diesel.

A new color Phantom Brown is introduced and will also be available in existing colours of White Pearl Crystal Shine, Silver Mica Metallic, Champagne Mica Metallic, Grey Metallic, Super White & Celestial Black.
