A few days back we reported about the new trims available on the Etios Liva. Toyota has now officially launched the 2014 Etios & Etios Liva in the Indian market. The Japanese car maker has been updating & improving the Etios twins every year based on the customer feedback. Last year the Etios twins received a decent upgrade with new interiors and slightly upgraded exteriors. The Liva TRD with a 1.5 litre petrol engine was also introduced.
There are no much change to the 2014 except for a new two tone premium interiors introduced on the G and GD grades of Etios and Etios Liva. The Liva diesel is now available with new top of the line VD and VD (Safety Package) grades.
The VD grades come with features like – 2 Din audio with Bluetooth connectivity, USB, Aux – in and remote, leather wrapped steering wheel with tilt function and audio controls, ORVM with turn indicators, dual front SRS airbags, tachometer, rear defogger and wiper etc. The safety pack includes Dual SRS Airbags (D+P) & Driver Seatbelt Warning.
The Etios sedan is available in the price range of Rs. 5,53,601 and Rs. 7,23,377 (petrol variant ) and Rs 6,82,530 and Rs 8,30,190 (diesel variant), while the Etios Liva is available in the price range of Rs. 4,53,681 and Rs 6,23,820 (petrol variant ) and Rs. 5,92,315 and Rs. 7,12,000 (diesel variant).
Toyota will also showcase the Etios Cross at the 2014 Auto expo and seems like this model is most likely to make it in the Indian market.
