Toyota India has introduced the all new gen Prius Hybrid in the Indian market. Priced at Rs. 38,96,040 (Ex-showroom New Delhi) the all-new Prius is available at Toyota dealerships across India.
The Prius now in its 4th generation is the first Toyota vehicle to be introduced with TNGA (Toyota New Generation Architecture) in the Indian market. The TNGA platform allows low-stance designs, giving the cars a lower centre of gravity than before, which in turn results in better suspension, stability and handling.
The new gen Prius Hybrid is powered by the most advanced and eco-friendly Hybrid Synergy Drive with 1.8 L engine and delivers a high mileage of 26.27 kmpl.
The Key features on the new gen Prius Hybrid are:
LED headlamps, LED fog lamps with DRL (daytime running lamps), 15” Alloy Wheels, Outside color door handles and Smart entry (driver, passenger and back door) with push start system. On the inside the car comes with Leather seats, Illuminated entry (room lamp, personal lamp & step lamp), Inside Chrome Door handles and Eco Driving Indicator (Eco-Lamp & HV-Indicator).

The Prius which has close to 4 million happy customers across the globe was introduced in India in 2010 with an aim to not just create awareness about hybrid technology but also to reiterate Toyota’s commitment towards bringing in the latest in hybrid technology to India. It is with this underlying philosophy that we have launched the all-new Prius in India.
The new Prius will be available in one grade- Z8. Bookings and deliveries open for the all-new Prius. The car was first showcased at the 2016 Auto Expo and Toyota had confirmed the launch at the time of unveiling.
Toyota will continue to import the car as a CBU.
