Volkswagen India continues to bet on the Polo to drive sales in the Indian market. After launching the Polo GT TSI, VW has launched another new variant, Cross Polo. The new variant comes with a body cladding a few additional features and upgrades to give it a sporty ‘crossover’ style.
Volkswagen India says, the Cross Polo will appeal to customers who have a taste for adventure and an active lifestyle. The Cross Polo is based on the 1.2 Polo TDI and is priced at Rs. Rs. 7.75 lakh, ex showroom, Delhi.
The Exterior is equipped with:
- “Cross” grill with chrome accent, bumpers, front & rear, with silver accents
- 5-spoke alloy wheels
- Black side cladding & moulded covers for wheel arches and rocker panel
- Silver roof rails
- Silver painted door mirror housing
- “Cross Polo” decals on rear doors
The interior is equipped with:
- Superior ‘Livon’ Titanium black upholstery
- Leather wrapped steering wheel
- Leather wrapped gearshift knob and handbrake lever handle
- Chrome interior trim
- Storage compartment in front doors including cup-holders for 1.5 litre bottle
The New Cross Polo will be offered in 3 different colours:
- Flash Red
- Reflex Silver
- Deep Black Pearl
The Cross Polo is bigger than the standard Polo but has the same wheelbase & ground clearance.
