Volkswagen has launched a limited edition of the Vento. The new Vento Highline Plus comes with additional features which are mainly aesthetic upgrades.
The Vento Highline Plus is equipped with the following features –
- Multimedia touch screen Navigation system
- Black roof foil
- Carbon-fibre finish on ORVMs
- Scuff plates
- Seat covers
- Carbon-fibre finish centre console
- Detachable made-to-size window blinds
- Body side moulding
- Floor mats
The Vento comes with a choice of 2 petrol and 1 diesel engine – 1.2 TS, 1.6 and 1.5 TDI. The 1.2 and 1.5 both come with a DSG Automatic transmission option while the 1.6 comes with a 5 speed manual transmission.
1.5-litre four-cylinder TDI turbo-diesel engine produces 103 horsepower and 250Nm of torque, while its fuel economy figure of 21.21kpl. The 1.2 TSI engine produces 103 horsepower and 175Nm of torque, and delivers 16.93kpl in terms of fuel economy. The 1.6 MPI engine produces 103 horsepower and 153Nm of torque, and returns 15.04kpl.
The Vento comes fitted with ABS and dual front air-bags as standard fitment from base variants.
