Volkswagen has introduced the powerful and efficient Vento TSI in the Indian market. The new Vento TSI is equipped with 1.2-litre turbocharged petrol engine which is also offered on the Polo GT TSI.
Volkswagen is equipping the cars with forced-induction TSI engines which are compact, powerful, and use less fuel when compared to bigger, normally-aspirated engines. TSI engines also deliver higher torque output at relatively lower engine speeds, which makes these engines responsive as well as fuel-efficient in a wide range of operating conditions. We could expect the 2014 models to be equipped with TSI engines only
The engine on the Vento TSI produces 105 PS of power and an impressive 175 Nm of torque. The engine is mated to a 7-speed DSG automatic gearbox for outstanding acceleration and ease of driving, without compromising on fuel economy. The car returns ARAI-certified 16.93 kmpl.
The Volkswagen Vento TSI is priced at Rs. 9.99 lakh, ex showroom, New Delhi.
